About Me

I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and for as long as I can remember, writing has come easily to me. It feels like creating and more like receiving; as if God hands me a story, complete with characters, and trusts me to tell it with care. I write any chance I get, grateful for every moment he gives me to put words on a page.

I have been married for almost thirty years, and must husband and I have three beautiful adult children and three grandsons who brighten our lives in ways only God could design. Family is one of his sweetest gifts, and I treasure the love, laughter, and lessons they bring.

I believe wholeheartedly that every person is created equally, fashioned by God's own hands, and worthy of honor. His Word is clear, his love is wide, and his grace covers us all. And I believe he has a sense of humor. You can see it in the way life unfolds, in the timing of his answers, and in the joy he sprinkles into ordinary days.

I have always loved children, especially teaching them. Their curiosity, honesty, and bright minds inspire me. There is nothing quite like watching a young mind grasp a taught lesson and seeing the light come on when it finally makes sense. Those moments remind me that learning is holy work, and that God meets us in the small victories just as surely as he meets us in the big ones.
